Dr. Lascelles Pinnock
Dr. Lascelles Pinnock is a board certified physician specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the ears, nose, and throat.
Dr. Lascelles Pinnock is a board certified physician specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the ears, nose, and throat. He also practices surgery for issues troubling the head and the neck. Community is important to Dr. Pinnock, as he has now served the Detroit metro area for more than 30 years. Dr. Pinnock and his team feel honored to continue serving returning patients, as well as welcoming new ones that seek the services of an experienced ear, nose, and throat doctor.
Along with his specialty as an ENT, Dr. Pinnock offers his patients a wide variety of knowledge and skills in other areas of medicine. The hall of fame physician is also a specialist when it comes to the treatment of allergies and sinus diseases. Dr. Pinnock is also affiliated with Oakwood Hospital and the Detroit Medical Center.

Dr. Stachler attended medical school in Dayton Ohio, Wright State University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at Wayne State University, Detroit. After completing his residency, he was invited to join the academic faculty in the Department and started the Harper University Swallowing and Voice Center at Wayne State University. He also was named Chief of Otolaryngology at the VA Medical Center in under 5 years. He attained Associate Professor status in 2005. In 2008, he was asked to work at Henry Ford Hospital in the Voice lab out at Lakeside Medical Center. He codirected the Otolaryngic Allergy Program and in two years, became the Division Head in Otolaryngology at Lakeside and Chief of the Allergy Division. At Henry Ford, he became the National Safety and Quality Improvement Champion for the Otolaryngology Department in 2008. He has become nationally known in safety and quality and currently is on the Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Committee for the Academy of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery. He is known nationally for his safety work and has published and presented in this field over the last 6 years. He has also published extensively in the swallowing and voice field. He has given national and international lectures on swallowing and voice disorders. He is very involved in the Board of Governors in the academy. He is currently Vice Chair of the Legislative Representative Committee for the academy. He is a member of the Payment, Policy and Procedures Committee for the academy as well. He is current secretary of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy. He is currently a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology at Wayne State University. He is often teaching the residents in the Otolaryngology Department at the DMC/Tenet Healthcare Network and at Oakwood.
His major areas of interest are allergy, speech, voice and swallowing disorders, and salivary and endocrine gland disorders. He is delighted to get the opportunity to work at Downriver ENT with Dr. Pinnock and his excellent staff.
